Partnering with Voices To Veterans

Our Story

Have you ever sat down with a veteran and listened to them talk about their experiences in the military? Perhaps at a 4th of July picnic or over a Memorial Day weekend when everyone is gathered around reminiscing and someone asks the veteran about their service. Whatever else is going on stops as people young and old wait with anticipation to hear what the veteran has to say.

Some veterans will tell stories that make you laugh, while others tell stories that make you cry. Some will say things that make you proud, while others say things that make you feel sad. But one thing all of their stories have in common is that they will inspire you and leave you in awe of their dedication and commitment to our country.

To make veterans’ stories more available to the public, we’ve partnered with Voices To Veterans, a monthly blog that interviews veterans and helps them tell their stories. Voices To Veterans has interviewed dozens of veterans from World War II to the Iraq War and everything in between. Each story takes only 5 minutes to read and will remind you of the times you heard your mother or father or uncle or aunt talk about their time in the military. They are stories of service and sacrifice—of dedication and patriotism. We encourage you to visit Voices To Veterans to see what we mean.

If you are a veteran and would like to have Voices To Veterans consider telling your story, or if you want to recommend a veteran you know, please send the veteran’s name to VoicesToVeterans@gmail.com.
