Gill Getter Boat Gets a New Life

Love ToFish

We continue to work hard on our fleet of fishing boats. The first of our two Gill Getter pontoon boats received a make over this past week and was launched into service Friday, March 20, 2020 and the second is nearing completion.

As you may imagine, the core boat structure is kept in tact. We stripped it down, removing seats, rails, motor, battery, carpeting and the base flooring. We installed new flooring, carpeting and seats, restoring it to like new condition.

Below are some pictures taken along the way. This Gill Getter will be assigned a slip number on our rental docks for you to sign out and use if you use club boats.

We will continue to rehab and add boats to the fleet. Today, (5) boats are ready for your fishing adventures. Boat number 6 will be ready shortly. Remember, as a courtesy, reserve your boat in advance. And, as always safety should be your first priority. All boats are equipped with flotation devices.

As a refresher, all rental boats are, and will be assigned a slip number. The slip number is on the deck (floor) of the dock, the charging post on the dock, and the boat (Please see circles on the picture below). The boat should always be returned to the matching slip location. When you reserve a boat, you will refer to that slip number.
